Have you ever felt like you didn’t have enough tools to teach your class?  Maybe this picture will help you rest a little more soundly.  This photo was posted to Reddit.com on Feb 19th, 2018 with the title ‘trying to teach IT in a Ghanaian village’.  With a little internet sleuthing we discover an article at modernghana.com confirming the story behind the picture.

Mr. Owura Kwadwo Hottish posted his pictures to Facebook mentioning he loves his students so much that he does what he can to help them understand what he is teaching.  That my friends is a model teacher.  Commenters on reddit point out various reasons for such a teaching method.  Obviously, many schools in Ghana have limited computers available.  Additionally, electricity may only be available 25% of the time.  Whatever challenges may come up, teachers like this find a way.
